Bids for BALEAP funding

BALEAP hopes to be able to fund projects of general benefit to the membership, on an annual basis. The bids may come from individual institutions, but collaborative bids are particularly welcome. The amount BALEAP hopes to set aside for the apportioning of bids each year is £8000. All bids will be for one year in the first instance, but follow-up bids may be possible, pending successful reports of the project so far. The bids will be approved by the executive committee, at the meeting following receipt of the bid.

Criteria for selection include the following :

• breadth of application to the membership as a whole;
• clear outline of what the project will entail;
• clear timelines;
• full costing.
