“Defining the Research Space : Literature Reviews and Research Questions”

Choosing a Methodology: Types of Method, Qualitative v Quantitative
Issues in Classroom Research: Action Research v Exploratory Practice Analysing
Qualitative Data: Transcription, Coding
Analysing Quantitative Data: Descriptive v Inferential Statistics
Reporting Results: Presentation of Results v Conclusions; Publishing

The events are to be self-contained and not an on-going course, so that members can attend one, some or all.

The format : half-day of input from a specialist in the field followed by a half-day of discussion, seminar, sharing of work.

Different researchers will be invited to deliver input sessions.
