Ethames Graduate School is a rapidly expanding HE College in Ilford (BAC Accredited) with international students aged18+.
Requirement : We are looking to recruit teachers for pre-sessional EAP programmes of up to 15 hours per week over a 10 week term to students going on to study academic courses at degree and postgraduate level. In addition we require staff to teach several academic writing and support classes within each academic course timetable, each for 3 hours a week over a 10 week term for students already enrolled on HE courses.
Qualifications : Applicants must hold a First Degree or equivalent and a CELTA or equivalent is essential. DELTA or Diploma/MA is an advantage. EAP teaching experience is preferred, with preference going to those with UK University EAP experience.
Applicants must have strong communication skills, an interactive teaching style, be flexible, and be looking for new opportunities to develop their skills. Since we have four intakes each year there are great opportunities for the right people to develop into full time EAP lecturers.
Hours are flexible from 3 hours a week up to full time positions. We can accommodate those studying part time Masters for example, or working part time in a University EAP department. There is a minimum commitment of 10 teaching weeks but some hours are available immediately.
