The Journal of English for Academic Purposes (JEAP) is intended to serve the interests and needs of teachers, learners and researchers engaged in all aspects of the study and use of English in academic (EAP) contexts.
The Journal provides a forum for the dissemination of information and
views which enables EAP practitioners and researchers to keep abreast
with developments in their field and to contribute to its continued
updating.
JEAP has received enthusiastic support from EAP researchers and
practitioners around the world and is the official journal of BALEAP,
the British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes.
The Journal is edited by Liz Hamp-Lyons, University of Bedfordshire and
Paul Thompson, University of Reading, assisted by an International
Editorial Board.
