Membership
There are two forms of membership available.
Institutional Membership
Institutional membership is available to any university or
equivalent institution of higher education which teaches EAP courses
and has at least one full-time member of staff whose principal
function involves the teaching of EAP. There
are currently (2009) 77 institutional members. Institutional
membership entitles you to :
- Attendance at biennial BALEAP conferences and one-day
Professional Issues Meetings at members’ rates
- Receipt of information on all BALEAP activities
- Join the BALEAP Accreditation Scheme
- Attend and vote at the BALEAP Business Meetings
- Access to the discussion list (mailbase) to engage in
discussion on topics of mutual concern, engage in informal
consultancy and obtain advice
- Institutional receipt of the Journal of English for Academic Purposes (JEAP)
as part of their membership to BALEAP.
Institutional subscription £375 pa.

Individual Membership
Individual membership is available to anyone in the
academic community with an interest in EAP. It entitles you
to :
- Attendance at biennial BALEAP conferences and one-day
Professional Interest Meetings at members’ rates
- Receipt of information on all BALEAP activities
- Access to the discussion list (mailbase) to engage in
discussion on topics of mutual concern, engage in informal
consultancy and obtain advice.
- Receipt of the Journal of English for Academic Purposes (JEAP)
as part of their membership to BALEAP.
Individual subscription £65 pa.
